Great place to stay, very friendly and a great homely atmosphere. Room standards are high and much nicer place to stay than your run of the mill chain hotels.

Warm welcome, lovely rooms, spotless, breakfast was fantastic, there was a party in the lounge area with a singer, they asked me if I wanted to join them, rugby was on so stay in the bar with a few locals, the landlady brought us food in from the party, fantastic place I will be back

Landlady cooked me a meal on Saturday night despite the restaurant being closed. She went out of her way to make me welcome after a long wet ride into wales on my motorbike also offering to put my bike undercover. Biker friendly which is great to know for the future.

Beautiful and large room, well furnished, with a large and very clean bathroom. Extremely rich and good breakfast. Very good position on our way from London to Pembroke, easy to find on the street but in a wonderful natural environment. Very pleasant and friendly staff. A great place to stop and even for a longer stay.

Oh my goodness - this place is stunning. The hosts are warm and kind, the rooms exceeded my expectations. The whole atmosphere was so welcoming. It is the unsung jewel in the crown of this part of Wales. This hotel is no where near Swansea and is actually half way between Swansea and Brecon - don't be put off though - from there to Swansea is just 20 minutes away in a car and the 15 mile drive is worth every minute - the views are completely stunning. The hotel sits in a valley and is bordered by a river. I honestly can't recommend this hotel more highly - owned and operated by a seriously lovely couple - who are the fourth generation of owners; the rooms are massive and really nicely finished - the place is immaculate.
